The 43 mm case of this worldtimer is made of polished and brushed stainless steel and is fitted with an integrated blue rubber strap that is connected to the case by polished solid steel links.
The watch's distinctive Summer Blue dial features a sun-brushed finish, a dial hue that echoes the watch's 150-metre water resistance, and is accented with a vertical "teak" texture. Fitted with rhodium-plated hands and indexes, they are coated with the distinctive light blue Super-LumiNova coating.
The dial presents a staggered globe with the names of cities around the world and is decorated in silver. The grade 5 titanium inner dial is laser-ablated to carve out the texture and texture of the terrain and then re-coloured with laser technology to create a delicate blue sea and relief topographic map of the continents. The outer side of the inner dial is a 24-hour scale ring made of plexiglass, with light blue scale zones indicating day and dark blue scale zones indicating night.
Seamaster in Summer Blue watches come with a unique and monumental case back. The Seahorse logo on the caseback depicts Poseidon, the god of the sea, driving two seahorses with a trident, one for the Seahorse logo originally designed by OMEGA in 1956, and one for today's Seahorse Logo. At the heart of the watch is the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8938.
